Cherry Cheese Pastry Shells

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen puff pastry shells
  • 2 (3 oz. each) pkg. softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
  • additional confectioners sugar

Directions

    Bake shells according to package directions.

    In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and extract with fork, removing circular top of each baked shell and set aside.
  3. 3
    Remove any soft layers of pastry inside shells and discard.
