Cherry-Cheese Turnovers

  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. dark sweet canned cherries, drained

Directions

    Blend cheese with butter, flour and salt; roll out dough.

    Cut into 2 inch squares.

    Place 1 tablespoon cherries in center of each square; fold over corners to seal.

    Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 375° until lightly browned.
