  • 1 devil's food cake mix
  • 21 oz. cherry pie filling
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 c. chocolate chips

    In large bowl combine first 4 ingredients.

    Stir by hand. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

    In small bowl combine sugar, butter and milk.

    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

    Stir in chips; let melt.

    Pour over cake.
