  • 2 packages (about 4.8 Oz. Sleeve) Graham Crackers, Crushed
  • 3/4 cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1-1/2 stick Butter, Melted
  • 2 cans (21 Oz. Can) Cherry Pie Filling

  • FOR THE MERINGUE:
  • 5 whole Egg Whites
  • 1 cup Sugar

Directions

    Mix together the crushed sleeves of graham crackers, sugar and cinnamon. Add melted butter. Press 3/4 of mixture on the bottom and slightly up the sides of a 9x13 pan.

    Pour cherry pie filling over the graham cracker mixture. Blueberries can be used instead of cherries.

    For the meringue, beat egg whites until frothy. Slowly add the sugar. Beat until stiff. Put on top of the cherries. Sprinkle the rest of the graham cracker mixture over the meringue.

    Bake at 275°F for 35 minutes.
