- 4 c. graham crackers, rolled fine
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 1 qt. of 2 cans sour cherries
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 5 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 5 egg whites
- 3/4 c. sugar
Directions

1Melt butter; mix crackers, 3/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.

2Pat 3/4 cup in bottom and sides of large buttered pan.

3Mix cornstarch and 1 1/4 cups sugar.

4Add to cherries.

5Cook until thick and clear. Pour over crumb mixture in pan.

6Beat egg whites until stiff; add 3/4 cup sugar.

7Spread over cherries.

8Cover with remaining crumb mixture and bake 35 minutes at 375°.
