- 12 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 12 cup white sugar
- 2 cups unbleached white flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 (15 ounce) can sour cherries (well drained)
Directions

1cream butter and sugars, add egg beat till blended.

2mix together flour soda and baking powder.

3alternate flour mixture with buttermilk into the butter sugar mixture.

4After this is well mixed, drain cherries and blend into the batter.

5add almond extract.

6Use cup cake pan with liners, Fill each with aprox 2 TBS batter, Bake for 20 min at 350.

7They are done when a toothpick comes out clean.
