- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. saltines
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 1/2 pt. heavy cream
- 1 tsp. confectioners sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Directions

1Beat egg whites until fluffy; add cream of tartar and vanilla. Gradually add 1 cup sugar and beat until stiff.

2Break up saltines and chop nuts.

3Fold into egg whites.

4Spread into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

5Bake at 325° for 25 minutes; let cool.
