  • 6 egg whites
  • 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. crushed saltine crackers
  • 3/4 c. nuts
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 pkg. Dream Whip
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

    Beat 6 egg whites until stiff.

    Add cream of tartar.

    Add sugar gradually.

    Beat until stiff.

    Fold in saltine crackers (crumbled by hand) into mix.

    Add nuts and vanilla.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

    Cool.

    Prepare 2 packages Dream Whip and spread on top; refrigerate.

    When cool, spread cherry pie filling on top.
