  • 1 c. margarine
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 2 envelopes Dream Whip (made according to directions) or medium Cool Whip
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 large can cherry pie filling

Directions

    Mix the margarine, flour, brown sugar and nuts together. Pack in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Remove and let it cool completely. Mix the Cool Whip, powdered sugar, cream cheese and vanilla together. Spread over cool crust. Top with cherry pie filling. Refrigerate at least 1 hour to set. Serve.
