- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 36 maraschino cherries
- 2 Tbsp. maraschino cherry juice
- confectioners sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Grease tins.

3Sprinkle bottom of each tin with 1/2 teaspoon pecans.

4Cream together butter and sugars. Add beaten egg yolks until blended.

5Mix flour and baking powder. Add gradually to butter.

6Beat egg whites.

7Add cherry juice and fold in egg whites.
