- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- dash of salt
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
- 1 lb. container candied cherries
Directions

1Cream well the margarine, gradually adding 1 1/2 cups of sugar.

2Mix in cream cheese, eggs and vanilla.

4Add flour, baking powder and salt.

6Add nuts and cherries. Use a spring-form pan; grease pan well.

8Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
