  • 1 lb. dates
  • 1/2 lb. candied cherries
  • 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
  • 4 c. whole pecans
  • 4 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

    Then add eggs, then pecans.

    Bake in greased tube pan with wax paper in bottom of pan. Bake in 250° oven for 2 hours.
