  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 3 teaspoons pickling spices
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 4 lbs venison, cubed
