- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 qt. pitted sour cherries (fresh)
- flour to stiffen batter (2 1/4 c.)
Directions

1Beat sugar and eggs.

2Add milk.

3Sift flour and baking powder together. Add flour and baking powder mixture to egg and milk mixture.

4Add cherries to batter. (Batter is stiff enough if cherries don't sink to the bottom.)

5Pour into buttered casserole dishes (one large and one small).

6Bake at 375° for 1 hour.

7Test for doneness with cake tester.
