  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. cherries, drained (sour #2 can, reserve rest of cherries and juice for topping, see below)
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cream sugar and egg.

    Add milk, flour and baking powder.

    Add cherries and nuts.

    Stir all together and bake in a greased and floured 9-inch pan at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes.
