  • 1 pkg. cherry flavored gelatin
  • 1 pt. hot water
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. water
  • 6 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 bottle ginger ale

Directions

    Put one pound regular grind coffee in cheesecloth or muslin bag which is large enough to hold twice that amount to allow for circulation.

    Drop bag into two gallons of boiling water.

    Cover tightly and reduce heat; let stand 6 to 10 minutes.

    Remove bag; keep coffee hot for serving.
