Cherry Salad

  • 1 large pkg. cherry jello
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 carton sour cream
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Dissolve jello in hot water and add pineapple.

    Let chill until syrupy.

    Add can of cherry pie filling and let set until congealed.

    Blend cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Put on top of congealed salad.

    Sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
