  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
  • 1 can cherry pie filling, drained
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 egg yolks

Directions

    Mix cake mix, butter and pecans. Press lightly into 9 x 13 pan, building up sides. Bake for 10 minutes at 350°. Spread cherry filling over crust while warm. Mix sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over cherries. Mix sour cream and egg yolks and spoon over cherries. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Serves 12.
