- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar and add eggs.

2Add vanilla.

3Mix together flour and baking powder, add to creamed mixture and combine.

4Grease a 15 x 10 jelly roll pan and spread 3/4 of batter in the pan.

5Spread cherry pie filling on top of batter.

6Spoon the remaining batter over the filling in large dots.

7Swirl together slightly.

8Bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until browned.

9Cool cake completely on a wire rack.

10Cut into squares to serve.
