- 2 (17 oz.) cans pitted dark sweet cherries
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry flavor gelatin
- 1/2 c. medium cherry sherry
- 1/3 c. almonds
- 1 pt. vanilla ice cream
Directions

1Early in day:

2Drain cherries, reserving liquid.

3To liquid, add enough water to make 1 3/4 cups.

4In medium saucepan over high heat, heat liquid to boiling.

5Place gelatin in medium bowl; stir in liquid until gelatin is dissolved.

6Add cherries, sherry and almonds.

7Refrigerate.
