- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
Directions

1Cream butter and gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs one at a time and mix well after each.

3Gradually add flour, beating well.

4Stir in vanilla and lemon extracts.

5Place in lightly greased 15x10 jellyroll pan and spread evenly.

6Lightly cut through batter with a knife to mark off 24 squares.

7Spoon about 2 teaspoons of pie filling in center of each square.

8Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until lightly browned and done.

9Watch carefully, it burns easily.

10Cool in pan for 20 minutes.

11Cut into squares and remove from pan.
