- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Directions

1Cream butter; add sugar, creaming at medium speed until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each.

3At low speed, add flour and vanilla.

4Pour into well-greased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan with sides.

5Spread batter evenly.

6Mark off into 48 squares.

7Place one/two cherries with a little filling into middle of each square.

8Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes. Cut while warm.

9When cool, sift confectioners sugar over top.
