  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp. almond flavoring
  • 35 well drained maraschino cherries

Directions

    Cream sugar and shortening.

    Add egg yolks and beat well. Blend in flour and salt.

    Add flavoring.

    Pinch off pieces of dough and flatten in the palm of your hand.

    Insert a cherry and completely cover with dough.
