- 1 can (16 oz.) pitted tart cherries, undrained
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- dash of salt
Directions

1Drain liquid from cherries, reserving 1/2 cup of the liquid.

2Pour liquid into small saucepan.

3Add sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt; mix well.

4Cook on medium heat until clear and thickened, stirring constantly.

5Remove from heat.

6Stir in cherries; cool.

7Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
