Cherry Vanilla Snowdrops

  • 1 lb butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 cup cornstarch
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 12 cups dried cherries
  • 34 cup chopped pistachio nut (optional)
  • 1 lb powdered sugar, for rolling

Directions

    Cream the butter, powdered sugar and cornstarch.

    Add the salt, vanilla and flour and mix to a nice dough.

    Fold in the cherries and nuts.

    Roll in 1 inch balls and bake at 350* for 8-10 minutes on parchment lined baking sheets.

    Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar coating well.

    When cool, re-roll in additional sugar.
