  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 1/4 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pie shell
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Cream butter and 1 cup sugar.

    Add flour.

    Add egg yolks, water, vinegar and vanilla.

    Bake at 325° for 45 minutes in uncooked pie shell.

    Cover with meringue made with whites of egg and remaining sugar.
