  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. meal
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. thick buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Stir in sugar. Remove from heat. Add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Blend well.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake until filling shakes slightly, about 20 minutes.
