- 2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
- 1 Tbsp. corn meal
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Combine sugar, flour and meal.

2Add butter and eggs.

3Mix well. Add milk and vanilla.

4Pour in pie shell.

5Bake in a preheated oven at 425° for 10 minutes.

6Reduce to 325° for 30 minutes.

7When pie begins to brown, cover with foil to prevent burning.
