  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
  • 1 Tbsp. corn meal
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Combine sugar, flour and meal.

    Add butter and eggs.

    Mix well. Add milk and vanilla.

    Pour in pie shell.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 425° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce to 325° for 30 minutes.

    When pie begins to brown, cover with foil to prevent burning.
