  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • pinch of salt
  • 2/3 stick butter, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Cream butter, sugar, cornstarch and salt.

    Add eggs, beating well after each.

    Stir in milk and vanilla. Pour in unbaked pie crust and bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes.
