- 3 rice cooker cups Uncooked rice
- 1 bag Dashi stock bag
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 15 Chestnuts
- 1 Sesame salt
Directions

1Wash and drain the rice.

2Boil the chestnuts, heating for 3 more minutes after the water has come to the boil, then let cool.

3Scrape the outer shell with a knife and return to the hot water.

4Remove the inner skin in the same way and then soak in a bowl of water.

5Put the rice and seasoning ingredients in your rice cooker and add water to the 3 cup level.

6Give it a stir, then add the chestnuts and the bag of dashi and cook as usual.

7Season with sesame salt if you like.
