Chew Pecan Cookie Squares

Directions

   Mix sugar, mayonnaise and vanilla.

   Stir in flour which has been mixed with baking powder and 1/2 cup pecans.

   Press into well-greased 8-inch square pan.

   Sprinkle remaining pecans and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

   Cut into squares.
