Directions

   Melt butter in a 9-inch square pan over heat or while preheating oven.

   Remove from heat as soon as it is melted.

   Beat eggs slightly.

   Combine sugar, flour, soda and nuts.

   Stir into beaten eggs.

   Add vanilla.

   Pour mixture over butter.

   Do not stir!

   Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Cut into squares and roll into confectioners sugar while still quite warm.
