- 1/2 cups Butter
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cups White Corn Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 11 ounces, weight Box Of Mini Club Crackers
- 5 cups Corn Or Rice Chex
- 1- 1/2 cup Whole Almonds Or Dry-roasted Peanuts
Directions

1Put butter in a medium sized microwave safe bowl.

2Melt butter in the microwave (heat for 30 seconds at a time until melted).

3Add sugar and corn syrup.

4Bring to a boil in the microwave, which takes about two minutes.

5Then continue to boil for about two minutes, stirring occasionally.

6Remove from microwave and add baking soda and vanilla.

7In a large microwave safe bowl, combine crackers, Chex, and nuts.

8Pour sugar/syrup mixture over the cracker mixture and stir well.

9Microwave for 2-3 minutes.

10Spread the mixture onto 2 large cookie sheets and allow it to cool.

11When cool, break into bite sized pieces.
