  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 3/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. water

    Sift dry ingredients into large bowl.

    Make 3 wells.

    Put vanilla in one, vinegar in one and oil in another.

    Pour 2 cups water over all.

    Stir until well mixed.

    Pour batter into 13 x 9 x 2-inch ungreased pan.

    Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes. Do not remove from pan.
