- 6 chicken thighs
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 c. water
- 5 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 head garlic, crushed
- 12 pieces peppercorn, crushed
- 1 bay leaf
Directions

1Marinate chicken in vinegar, soy sauce, peppercorn and 1/2 garlic.

2Add water and simmer, uncovered, until tender.

3Strain sauce; separate the sauce from meat.

4Allow to cool.

5To reduce sauce, cook in open saucepan; simmer until sauce thickens with bay leaf.

6Heat cooking oil; brown meat and half garlic.

7Pour sauce over chicken.

8Serve with rice.
