  • 1 small sweet onion
  • 8 cloves of crushed garlic or garlic powder.
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 4 to 6 Chicken Skinless Breasts or 1 [3lb] whole chicken cut into pieces
  • flour as needed to make gravy [optional]
  • cooked white rice

    Place chicken in a slow cooker. In a small bowl mix all of the ingredients except for the flour & rice. Pour over chicken. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. About 1/2 way through I will add the flour as needed to make the sauce less soupy and more gravy like. Serve over white rice
