- 3 lb. frying chicken, cut up
- 2 tbsp. butter
- margarine
- 1-1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 cup Finely crushed saltine crackers
- 1/4 cup butter
- margarine
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 cans (1-1/8 lb. each) cream-style corn
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
Directions

1In a large frying pan, brown chicken in 2 tbsp.

3Sprinkle with paprika, garlic salt and pepper.

4Meanwhile, prepare Corn Mixture.

5In a large mixing bowl, combie flour, salt, milk and egg.

6Beat until smooth.

7Add corn and onion and mix well.

8Spoon Corn Mixture over browned chicken.

9Reduce heat and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 30 to 40 minutes until chicken is tender.

10While chicken is cooking, brown cracker crumbs in 1/4 cup butter in a small frying pan.

11To serve, garnish chicken with buttered crumbs.
