Chicken And Cornbread Dressing

Ingredients
- 1 large chicken or chicken parts
- 1 large pan cornbread
- 1/3 loaf stale light bread
- 4 Tbsp. sage or more
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 c. or more chopped celery
- 2 large eggs
Directions

1Boil chicken.

2Take off of bones.

3Make cornbread.

4Have ready.

5Mix cornbread and light bread.

6Cook celery and onion in broth with margarine or butter.

7Mix your bread mixture, with sage, salt and pepper, then your celery and onion, broth from chicken.

8Last, add eggs, then just punch your chicken breasts down in dressing.

9Make sure you have enough broth so that your dressing will not be dry.

10Cook for about 1 1/2 hours at 325°, a little longer if needed.

11This serves about 15 people.
