Ingredients
- 1 large chicken
- 2 pans cornbread
- 8 slices light bread
- 2 bunches green onions, chopped
- 6 eggs
- 1 stick butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 c. milk
- 1 stalk celery (if desired)
- sage (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Boil chicken in salted water.

2Be sure to have plenty of water as this broth will be used in making the dressing.

3When chicken is done, cool and remove bones.

4Cook chopped onions (use green tops also) and celery in 1 stick of butter.

5Add soups and warm. Crumble cornbread and light bread in large bowl.

6Mix all ingredients, using the broth.

7Salt and pepper to taste.

8Pour into large baking dish or several small ones.

9Can be frozen. Bake at 350° until golden brown on top.

10Baking time depends on size of pan used.
