Ingredients
- 1 large chicken, cooked, skinned and deboned
- about 3 lb. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. soft oleo
- 1 1/2 c. warm broth
- remaining broth plus enough water to make 3 qt.
Directions

1Put flour in large bowl.

2In center of flour, mix salt and margarine and 1 1/2 cups broth.

3Mix well until dough is not sticky.

4Turn out on floured board, knead and roll out.

5Cut dough in strips.

6Bring remaining broth to boil.

7Drop dumplings by pieces into the boiling broth.

8Cook uncovered over medium heat for 10 minutes.

9Salt and pepper to taste, cover and cook for another 10 minutes.

10Stir in chicken.
