- 2 lb. chicken breasts
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 c. dry white wine
- 1 c. water
Directions
-
1Put flour, salt and pepper in a paper bag.

2Take chicken, one piece at a time, place in bag and shake until chicken is coated with flour mixture.

3Brown coated chicken in olive oil.

4When all of the chicken is brown, drain off excess oil.

5Sprinkle onion soup over chicken.
-
6Pour wine and water over chicken.
-
7Simmer, covered, over low heat for 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
