  • 2 lb. chicken breasts
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 c. dry white wine
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Put flour, salt and pepper in a paper bag.

    Take chicken, one piece at a time, place in bag and shake until chicken is coated with flour mixture.

    Brown coated chicken in olive oil.

    When all of the chicken is brown, drain off excess oil.

    Sprinkle onion soup over chicken.

    Pour wine and water over chicken.

    Simmer, covered, over low heat for 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
