- 2 lb. chicken pieces
- salt and pepper
- 2 tsp. margarine
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 c. hot water
Directions

1Brown chicken in margarine in a large skillet.

2Sprinkle with salt and pepper; set aside.

3Add onion and garlic to same skillet and saute until lightly browned.

4Return chicken to skillet and add green pepper and tomatoes.

5Pour in water and cover and simmer for 40 minutes or until chicken is tender.
