Ingredients

  • chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • basil to taste (optional)
  • 1 1/2 c. instant rice

    Mix soups (do not dilute) and spices.

    Heat and take out 1 cup of mixture (for reserve).

    Add instant rice to remaining mixture; bring to a boil.

    Spread in a 13 x 9-inch Pyrex dish.

    Place pieces of chicken breast on top and spread reserved cup of soup over top. Bake at 300° for about two hours (or microwave chicken until almost done, then add to above for shorter cooking time).
