  • 1 large hen
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. long spaghetti
  • 2 cans tomato juice
  • 2 c. diced celery
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 can American cheese
  • salt and pepper

    Cook hen in water and salt.

    Cool; cut meat off bones and dice.

    Cook spaghetti in broth.

    Cook celery, onion and pepper in broth; add to drained spaghetti with tomato juice and diced chicken.

    Simmer for a few minutes.

    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish; sprinkle with cheese.

    Bake for about 15 minutes at 350°.
