Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 c. basil leaves
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- pinch of white pepper
- 1 c. bread crumbs, seasoned with salt, pepper, dried marjoram and oregano
- 1 egg, beaten with 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Combine garlic, basil and olive oil in a blender or food processor.

3After processing, add salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese.

4Split chicken breasts lengthwise and spread with basil mixture and close.

5Dip each breast in egg mixture and roll in mixture of bread crumbs and flour.

6Heat 1/8-inch olive oil in skillet and saute breasts on each side until golden.

7Place breasts in shallow baking dish; bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
