- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 chicken, about 3 pounds, cut up
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 16 ounces canned whole tomatoes with liquid
- 8 ounces canned tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 small bay leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 pound spaghetti
Directions

1Heat the oil and cook the chicken in it until the chicken is golden brown.

2Add remaining ingredients except spaghetti.

3Cover and simmer for one hour, or until chicken is tender.

4Remove bay leaf.

5(The sodium level can be reduced by using no-salt-added canned tomatoes and tomato sauce, and by not adding salt.
