Ingredients

  • 1 small pkg. Pepperidge Farm cornbread stuffing
  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, juice and all
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 31/2 c. or 1 whole fryer, boiled and deboned, may be done ahead
  • 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1/2 c. onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Blend butter or margarine with the stuffing.

    Line baking dish (approximately 10 x 10-inch) with 1/2 of the crumbs.

    Mix all other ingredients together.

    Pour into baking dish and top with the rest of the crumbs.

    Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
