  • 1 baked pie crust
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 stick oleo
  • 3/4 c. cooked carrots
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • meat from 1 chicken, cooked
  • 1 egg
  • sliced cheese

Directions

    Saute onion and pepper in oleo until tender.

    Stir in flour and broth.

    Cook and stir until thickened.

    Add chicken, carrots and egg.

    Turn into pie shell and top with slices of cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese turns light brown.
