  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced Safeway 1 lb For $1.49 thru 02/09
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 medium tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 1 pkg. (10 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Smoked Ham, chopped
  • 3 medium red bell peppers, seeded, cut into strips

Directions

    Sprinkle chicken evenly with salt and black pepper; set aside.

    Heat oil in large Dutch oven on medium-high heat.

    Add chicken; cook until evenly browned, turning occasionally.

    Add onions and garlic; cook and stir 2 min.

    Add tomatoes and ham; mix well.

    Reduce heat to medium; cook 5 min., stirring occasionally.

    Add red peppers; stir.

    Simmer 20 min.
