- 2 whole chicken breasts
- 4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 medium carrots, coarsely chopped
- 1 (17 oz.) can creamed corn
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Combine first 3 ingredients in Dutch oven; bring to boil and simmer 30 to 45 minutes, until chicken is tender.

2Remove chicken, reserving 3 cups broth in Dutch oven.

3Remove meat from bones and cut into pieces.

4Add potatoes and carrots to broth and bring to boil; simmer 10 to 12 minutes.

5Add chicken, corn, tomato sauce and pepper; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

6Stir occasionally.

7Yields 2 quarts.
